EQAS - External Quality Assesment scheme - Molecular Genetics of Haematological Disorders

Over the last 10 years, our department has developed molecular genetic tests for a wide range of haematological disorders that has helped greater understanding of these diseases in India and also helped provide clinical care that would not have otherwise been possible. We have also initiated a national external quality assessment program for molecular genetics tests in Haematology.

Clinical Research

Apart from laboratory based research we are also involved with clinical studies within our own department and in various national and international multicentre studies some of which are coordinated from here. While restricting the number of sponsored drug trials that we participate in, we are happy to help initiate studies with new drugs produced by Indian pharmaceutical industry.
